For retail buyers, the Gold Rate Today October 6 figures should be treated as indicative rather than final jewellery prices. Making charges, GST and other applicable costs can increase the amount paid at a jewellery store.

The gold price in India today will continue to depend on domestic and international market movements. Traders are also watching global economic data and expectations surrounding US monetary policy, which can influence bullion prices.

For people who are thinking about buying something, it’s still important to check the price with the local jeweler because the cost at the store can be different from the standard price for gold. The price of gold can also go up or down during the day, as the market changes.
