Regarding vision, many people blame close work for rising rates of nearsightedness. However, researchers find that the main issue is a lack of time spent outdoors. Bright natural light stimulates dopamine in the retina, which aids eye development. Spending more time outside, while wearing sunscreen and sunglasses, offers a simple protective measure. 

Grip strength serves as a key indicator of your health, yet it declines among younger generations. This generational shift reflects a trend toward sedentary, computer-based work. If you cannot maintain a firm grip on a tennis ball for thirty seconds, you should prioritize strength training and overall fitness. 

Finally, technology impacts fine motor skills. While swipes and clicks improve, broader physical dexterity suffers. This decline impacts cognitive development in children. You can counter these effects by choosing hands-on tasks like cooking, playing an instrument, or writing by hand.
